Who else struggles with opening up? The truth is, I'm a very private person. I always have been. I keep things close to my heart. One of the main reasons is that authenticity means everything to me. I don't want to be friends with everyone because I crave deeper and realer relationships than most people do. I've been hurt more times than I can count by opening up and trusting people just to realize I valued the relationship more than the other person. I've grown to realize that's 100% ok. I am that unique outgoing introvert who is also an extreme empath- I want relationships and friends and to help others even though it takes a lot of effort. I haven't stopped trying but now I give myself and others grace when friendships fade. I hear about people "making friends" on Instagram and really think I can find a connection to people like me in this community. Of course that means opening up so you know who I really am, and I promise to do better at that. 😉 I have been building a new brand that is more true to who I am and that allows me to help others while truly being myself. You may have noticed a name change recently, and I spend a lot of time trying to find one that encapsulates my dreams & goals. More on that later but just know I'm here, I'm present, I want to help you, and if you want to, I'd like to be your friend 👭

I've never worked so hard at anything in my whole life as I have breastfeeding my little one. 15 months and going strong. 💪 Thank you to all the women around the world for the support and being role models, for the multitude of Instagram accounts with inspiration, laughs, and guidance, to everyone who let me feed in peace with no confrontation, but even to the people giving my eye rolls and disapproving looks because you helped me grow to feel confident in myself and myself as a mother because there is nothing I'm prouder of than the work I've put in to provide nourishment from my own body to my little nugget. 👑 Happy #nationalbreastfeedingweek to all the mommas who are breastfeeding now, who have breastfed in the past, who tried to, and who decided it just wasn't for them. What a wonderful world we live in where we have choices and we should all feel honored with our decisions. ❤️❤️

As 2017 comes to a close, I look back with *mostly* fond and happy memories of the year. It was such a wonderful year for me and my family. For me this year my struggles have been finding a balance of working, being a new mom, trying to keep up with things that fulfill me personally, the usual stuff we all struggle with right? But the highs of the year were all related to the coming of our first baby in May. Life is so wonderful when we step back and look at the big picture. This time of year always fosters happy and joyous feelings for me. I can't wait to see what 2018 holds and to share with all of you along the way. CHEERS! Xoxo, ❤
